The 13th Annual EDGE 2 EDGE MARATHON hits again on Canada’s Pacific Rim. June brings runners from all over the world to experience this amazing event. The marathon offers a full, half and relay options running between our two west coast communities Tofino and Ucluelet.

Paddle the Edge will also return this year on June 11, 2012. A kayaking race in the Ucluelet harbour. This is a 3 hour race in sheltered waters for paddlers of all levels.

FOR OUR MARATHON GUESTS we offer after check out showers and we are able to store luggage for guests checking out on the marathon day. We do have our fitness centre for guest use during your stay which has a 3000 sq. foot gym, indoor pool and sauna. After your run on Sunday guests are more then welcome to come back and use the showers in our fitness centre or relax in that sauna free of charge.

The 3rd Annual 2012 Ucluelet Salmon Ladder Derby is almost here again!
The derby starts Tuesday, May 1st, and will run through to Monday, September 3rd.

Fish in the biggest fishing event on the west coast … and have the chance to win thousands of dollars in cash and prizes this summer! Monthly cash prizes will be drawn based on the ladder fish as of midnight on May 31st, June 30th, July 31st, August 19th and September 3rd.

The 3rd Annual 2012 Ucluelet Salmon Ladder Derby and the Ucluelet Salmon Enhancement Society have raised $7000 for the Thornton Creek Hatchery over the past two summers. Participate and help us raise our goal of $10,000 for the salmon enhancement projects on Vancouver Island’s west coast!
