MAJESTIC OCEAN KAYAKING
They have many different tours you can choose from. Their company started here in Ucluelet in 1993. The Pacific Rim National Park has preserved much of the wilderness area around Ucluelet. You don’t see high-rise hotels when you paddle around here. Kayaking day trips through Ucluelet’s historic harbour or day trips (or several days) to the Broken Group Islands which is part of the Pacific Rim National Park.

COASTAL KNIGHTS
They offer kayakers coastal wilderness wildlife viewing, Black Bear watching and Barkley Sound kayaking tours at its best. Coastal Knights operates Kayaking trips/ tours of the west coast Vancouver Island area and specialize in trips for all skill levels and ages. Guided harbour dory trips are also available.
Coastal Knights Kayaking trips start May 15th and Run until Sept 30.
HARBOUR WILDLIFE & BEAR WATCHING Tour
2.5 hours kayak trip, or 1.5 hour dory tour:
This tour is great for first time paddlers or those seeking bears, seals,
sea lions & eagles from the tranquility of a kayak or dory.
SEA CAVES & ELEPHANT ROCK Tour
4 hours: Fully guided paddle across scenic Ucluelet harbour to
Elephant Rock sea caves. Explore rainforest trails & view marine
wildlife from secret view points of Barkley Sound.
GEORGE FRASER ISLANDS Open ocean & wildlife tour
5 hours: For adventurous groups looking to experience open ocean sea swells
for a short crossing to the scenic George Fraser Islands.
This is a great wildlife paddle with a wilderness beach to explore.
Views of Barkley Sound and Amphitrite Lighthouse.
DORY BOAT AND BEAR and Wildlife Tour
1.5 hours fully guided: Bear waching by kayak or dory are offered during mid to low tides while bears feed
on sedge grass, crab and clams. Call for info on departures.

The Kennedy River and the valley it flows through is a lush and picture-perfect west coast rainforest setting. Mountainous, temperate and still wild, the water here is clean and green as it makes its way towards Kennedy Lake where it eventually meets the Pacific Ocean in Clayoquot Sound.
The 3 hour paddle will take you on an amazing eco tour through wilderness rich with fresh mountain air and the calming sound of moving water.

The motel is within easy walking distance to restaurants, tour operators and the Wild Pacific Trail. Driving distances to Pacific Rim National Park and the start of Long Beach 10 minutes, Tofino 30 minutes.
